Previously I mentioned that if you are recording sound with the PMD-100 cameras, you should NOT use the internal mikes which are stereo omnidirectional (unless you are recording background sounds).
If you are recording dialogue or sound effects, be sure to check out the separate mike kit that goes with it.
NOTE that this kit comes with a "shoe" that mounts on the camera. One side of the shoe connects to the multi-pin connector on the camera, the other side has XLR connectors for the mike.
