GRAMMYS
It's always a pleasure to go to the Grammys, and this year was no different, seeing Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin in person was enough to justify the ticket price. Keely Smith was great, but her partner Kid Rock couldn't even tell when he was supposed to sing. Herbie Hancock outplayed popular Chinese pianist Lang Lang on Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, and Kanye West is always entertaining, even in his acceptance speech. Amy Winehouse's performance via satellite was also very good.
